Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the MapleAI API service (the "Service") operated by MapleAI ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

2. Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us with information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password and API key that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your credentials. You agree not to disclose your password or API key to any third party.

3. Acceptable Use and Content Policy

MapleAI is designed to foster creativity and innovation. You are responsible for the content you generate and must adhere to the following policy.

Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to generate, promote, or distribute content that:

Is Illegal or Promotes Illegal Acts. This includes, but is not limited to, planning, promoting, or enabling illegal activities such as terrorism, violence, or creating threats against individuals or groups (e.g., "bomb threats").

Is Hateful, Harassing, or Abusive. This includes content that attacks, demeans, or promotes discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Involves Exploitation or Abuse of Children. Generating or distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly forbidden. Any such activity will result in immediate account termination and a report to law enforcement authorities.

Violates Privacy. This includes sharing private, personal, or intimate information of others without their consent.

Is Maliciously Deceptive. This includes the creation of scams, phishing attempts, or spreading dangerous misinformation with the intent to harm.

4. AI-Generated Content

Accuracy and Appropriateness. You understand that content generated by the Service is created by an artificial intelligence. It may not be accurate, factual, or appropriate for all audiences. We do not guarantee the reliability or suitability of any generated content.

Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your use of the Service, including the prompts you provide and how you use the generated output. You should critically evaluate all content for accuracy and appropriateness before use.

5. Subscription and Payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly basis.

All payments are handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use and Content Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. MAPLEAI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL MAPLEAI OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, OR DUE TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
